King St Jazz Month  |  From Thursday 15 April
With International Jazz Day falling on Friday 30 April, we're kicking off celebrations for our King St Jazz Month early, starting with a jam session by the students of Jazz Music Institute at Welcome to Bowen Hills on Thursday 15 April! In April and May, there'll be street parades, trio performances and more to celebrate International Jazz Day - learn more here

artisan's new exhibitions | artisan | From Saturday 17 April
Our home of curated arts and crafts, artisan, is welcoming two new exhibitions in April! Reflection Distortion curated by Cassandra Lehman features the works of four artists who conceptually use reflective materials as a commentary on perception, while Moths by Lesley Kendall features more than 300 life-sized porcelain moths, recreated in incredible detail. King St Book Club  |  artisan |  Tuesday 20 April from 6pm
It's back! Join Avid Reader and the King St community for an insightful discussion of Susan Abulhawa's new novel Against the Loveless World. Your $50 ticket includes the book, a glass of wine and food from il Verde! Driving? You can park FREE for up to three hours in the King St car park from 5pm on week nights. FIND, LOVE, KEEP - The Finders Keepers autumn/winter 2021 market is coming to the Brisbane Showgrounds this month, calling the Exhibition Building home for the first time! Shop, explore and discover over three jam-packed days - featuring independent art, design and food stalls, Finders Keepers is all about supporting local and promoting the conscious shopping movement. artisan continues to offer so many reasons to enjoy the world of craft and design throughout May (and beyond). You can get crafty with a huge range of workshops on offer including a very special Mother's Day event on Saturday 8 May.
