Something new is brewing at Brisbane’s newest foodie mecca! This June, the charismatic Kuhl-Cher Coffee will be joining the effervescent King Street community as a premium coffee outlet.
Set to be one of the only inner-city café roasteries in Brisbane, Kuhl-Cher Coffee will satisfy everyone’s palette’s from the coffee aficionado to the blissful bruncher. With all coffee beans being roasted on site, the roastery will create an aromatic coffee hub boasting the finest house blends and single origins from across the globe.
One of the main features of the rustic inspired café will be a Brew Bar, offering customers a memorable experience and alternative brewing techniques. Kuhl-Cher will also host education and tasting sessions through their ‘Coffee Society’; proving that this is the café we’ve all ‘bean’ waiting for.
The seasonal (and fresh!) menu will provide a certain ardor to food lovers that visit the café. Patrons’ be able to get their hands on a variety of food options including; boutique street food, a unique degustation experience during the EKKA, as well as a regular homage to the classics. A takeaway cabinet will be every ramblers’ dream; filled with fresh sandwiches, salads and house-made sweets.
Brisbane Showgrounds Project Director Michelle Wooldridge is excited to welcome Khul-Cher to the street.

Owners Antony Forbutt, George Angeli and Peter Kaselakis have thrived in the hospitality industry with over 15 years of valuable experience.
Angeli is passionate about creating more than just another café, “Family is a huge part of developing Kuhl-Cher. We believe that by treating staff and customers alike we are able to build and foster relationships through the art of coffee. We strive to educate and enrich our staff in order to further the experience of our customers.”
Kaselakis added, “Coffee has been integral throughout history as a point of communication and relationships. We believe that Kuhl-Cher coffee can continue this legacy and create a unique meeting place for relationships to develop.”
Kuhl-Cher will open seven days a week from 5.30am to 5.30pm.
