Brunch destinations to make a beeline for

15 Apr 2019

At King Street, we believe in brunch. It’s not quite breakfast, it’s not quite lunch, but it’s just what you want to wake up to after hitting your snooze button into overdrive.

Atelier Brasserie
Let Atelier take you straight to Europe with their relaxed, refined brasserie in the heart of King Street. From spectacular cocktails to the international wine list, Atelier is the perfect place to unwind (with a gastronomic menu to match!)

El Camino Cantina
It’s always five o’clock somewhere at El Camino Cantina. You’ll be greeted at the door by Vegas-style neon lights, sombreros, frozen margaritas and the smells of all your favourite Tex-Mex eats. Perfect for groups of all sizes, you can work your way through the list of mezcals and tequilas, alongside an impressive range of local and imported beers.

The Bavarian Beerhaus
You can’t talk about beer without mentioning The Bavarian Beerhaus. With over 40 German beers on tap, the Bavarian is a choice venue for your next night out. A true adult’s playground, they keep the good times rolling with foosball tournaments, ping pong battles, giant games and so much more. Plus, they offer free bar snacks with your drinks daily from 4-6pm.

Paddock Bar
When the clock strikes wine o’clock, Paddock Bar is waiting for you. Grab an alfresco table under the sprawling fig tree, and sink into a signature cocktail, spritz or schooner of craft beer. If you’re in the mood, their classic menu includes all your favourite bar-eats, including their ever-popular Paddock Bar Burger.

Welcome to Bowen Hills
Three cheers for sundowner beers! Welcome to Bowen Hills is the place to be for post-work brews, with weekly specials such as Wednesday night Bottomless Pale Ale, Pizza and Pinnies, and the occasional themed party (such as an annual mulled wine celebration in winter) contributing to King Street’s avid nightlife scene.
