Date night and all that jazz

1 Nov 2019

For the lovers, and lovers of jazz alike – this will be sweet music to your ears.

Prepare your jazz hands and put on your dancing shoes – the precinct’s very own, Jazz Music Institute will be sounding the horn throughout the rest of the year, with free weekly music performances along King Street!

The talented JMI students are playing along King Street on Fridays from 4pm-7pm*, Saturdays from 5pm-8pm, and Sundays from 10am-1pm.

Their soulful sounds will be the perfect backdrop for a moonlit (or midday) date, with flavoursome pho at Banoi, sashimi at Sushi & Nori or a morning coffee and gourmet breakfast from Kuhl-Cher!

Once you’re full of good food and coasting off live music’s great vibes, continue your feast for the senses at La Macelleria – because there’s always room for dessert.

If you don’t want the date to end just yet, fire up the fun at Beerhaus, where you can play shuffle board, giant jenga or power away on pinball, as your pint is being poured as your final treat of the day.

Intrigued? Band together on King Street, your friendly local matchmaker in street-form.

* Excluding Friday 15 November due to RnB Friday. This will be replaced with Saturday 16 November 12pm – 3pm and 6pm – 9pm.
