KING ST BOOK CLUB IS BACK, TUESDAY 18 MAY AT ARTISAN

For everyone who loves a good book ... great conversation, a glass of wine & more - this month we have a fabulous author event!

We're thrilled that the King St Book Club is back!

After a successful event held at artisan last month, this May we have a very special author event and it's returning to the beautiful venue of artisan's gallery space. Perhaps you and your pals are bookworms, or you’re looking to rediscover the wonder of reading. Or, maybe your eyes light up when you see the words “wine included!” Well, King St's Monthly Book Club will be perfect for you!

Wine in hand, you’ll dive into a book discussion facilitated by Avid Reader's Book Club Manager, Jennifer Stephens - all for the affordable price of $50.

Your ticket price includes the book, a glass of wine, a robust discussion, and some tastes of King St - this month it's delicious bites from Fat Dumpling.

Special Author Event this Month - Tuesday 18 May, 6pm - 9pm

The evening kicks off at 6pm and author Susan Johnson will be discussing her latest novel, From Where I Fell, the story of two women from opposite ends of the earth who begin corresponding by chance and start sharing the intimacies of their lives.

'In a strikingly original reimagining of an epistolary novel, Susan Johnson creates two voices that echo and reverberate long after the final, heart-wrenching pages. Her best yet.' GERALDINE BROOKS

Susan Johnson has written ten books: eight novels; a memoir, A Better Woman; and a non-fiction book, an essay, On Beauty, published by Melbourne University Press.
