The Ekka Tastes Pop-Up is returning to share Ekka cheer!

RNA is relaunching its King St pop-up experience to ensure nobody misses out on their annual fix of Ekka flavours!

With the Ekka cancelled for a second consecutive year, the RNA is relaunching its drive-thru and King St pop-up experience to ensure nobody misses out on their annual fix of Ekka flavours!

The Ekka Tastes Drive Thru and King St pop-up will operate from Saturday 14 August to Sunday 22 August, offering nostalgic favourites including Dagwood dogs, Bertie Beetle showbags, strawberry sundaes and tubs of the iconic Ekka strawberry ice cream that Ekka-goers have been enjoying since the 1950s. 

Almost 55,000 strawberry sundaes and 30,000 Dagwood dogs were sold at the 2020 Ekka Tastes Drive Thru, with this year's nine-day pop-up set to have double the capacity to ensure smooth and speedy service.

The Ekka Tastes Drive Thru will run from 10 am to 7 pm daily at the Brisbane Showgrounds as well as a pop-up outlet at 45 King St, and you can even save 50 cents on sundaes and Dagwood dogs by showing your RACQ membership card!

Remember, you can get 1 hour free parking on King St Mon-Fri until 5pm, and 3 hours free after 5pm Mon-Fri and all weekend!
