Blanche Tilden is coming to artisan | August 26
As the latest iteration of culture on King St, artisan will be hosting its new exhibition from Friday, August 26 for Blanche Tilden - Ripple Effect: a 25 year survey. Blanche Tilden of Geelong Gallery will showcase her acclaimed skills in contemporary jewellery until Saturday, October 22 before continuing her tour across Australia. The exhibition’s free opening event begins with In Conversation with Blanche Tilden and curator Jason Smith, followed by special guest speaker Dame Quentin Bryce.

Post-race brekkie after Bridge to Brisbane | August 28
Brisbane’s biggest fun run is back on Sunday, August 28! The Sunday Mail Transurban Bridge to Brisbane race will have runners finishing right on King St’s doorstep. For those participating in the 10km race, you’re set for an excellent brekkie to replenish your energy.
