When we heard that the EKKA was to be cancelled again this year, we all heard the collective outcry from Brisbane as it meant no EKKA Strawberry Sundaes! And while the EKKA tastes pop-up was exactly what we needed, we think we can all agree that it simply left us craving more.

Some of our amazing food retailers have put their creative hats on and imagined up some delicious desserts that use the official EKKA Strawberry Ice cream – that’s right, the official flavours have been made available to us for the first time ever. In purchasing these fabled tubs of ice cream to bring these ideas to life, we’ve had the opportunity to contribute to raising the much-needed funding normally brought in to The Common Good from the EKKA Strawberry Sundae.
